CTC and Bosch SDS partner to accelerate digital and green transformation in Japanese manufacturing

ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation (CTC) and Bosch Software & Digital Solutions (Bosch SDS), a business unit of Bosch Global Software Technologies Limited, have announced a strategic partnership. The collaboration focuses on promoting the adoption of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition in Japan’s manufacturing industry. It aims to accelerate digital transformation (DX) and green transformation (GX), while also addressing technology renewal and system obsolescence across the sector.

As part of this alliance, Bosch SDS will provide its SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition experience and global implementation expertise, successfully deployed across multiple manufacturing firms in India and Southeast Asia. These assets will be integrated with CTC’s templates and delivery capabilities, covering adoption, API integration, development, and operations.

This joint approach will enable Japanese manufacturers to implement ERP systems aligned with Japan’s legal frameworks, accounting standards, and business practices. At the same time, it ensures compliance with global best practices in standardization and scalability.

Building on Bosch SDS’s global track record and CTC’s industry expertise, the partnership will help manufacturers adopt smart, data-driven, and sustainable operations. This includes capabilities such as predictive maintenance, energy consumption visualization, and factory optimization, all contributing to Japan’s broader GX goals.

Since 2023, CTC has been a core partner in the ‘GROW with SAP’ program, delivering cloud ERP services tailored to Japan’s business environment. Its proprietary solution, “Figues,” leverages the Fit-to-Standard approach and the SAP® Business Technology Platform (SAP® BTP) to simplify ERP adoption and integration.
